I posted some pictures of my "famous" indoor s'mores on Instagram (@xoxofarmgirl) last weekend and got a ton of DMs about how to make them. So, here ya go!
I am happy to say this is the easiest crowd-pleasing recipe ever. It literally takes under 15 minutes to make. I suggest it be accompanied by a fire in the fireplace, thick socks and a movie on the big screen. So hygge!
1 small cast iron skillet (maybe 5" in diameter or smaller; a little goes a long way)
1 tablespoon of butter
2 graham crackers, crushed
1-2 Hershey bar(s) or other favorite chocolate
12 large marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in the pan on the stovetop.
Add crushed graham crackers and mix in the butter until coated.
Add chocolate, broken up into pieces, to cover the graham cracker crumbs.
Put pan in the oven for a few minutes until the chocolate is melty. It probably won't look super melted, but if you touch it with a knife, it should be spreadable.
Remove pan from oven and place marshmallows tightly together over the chocolate.
Put pan back in the oven for 10 minutes. Don't go away. It's best to watch it through the oven window.
Remove when the marshmallows have a golden brown crust (as pictured).
Get out your fork and dig in!
